We regret that, as a consequence of Covid 19, our cafe was closed in March 2020 and we have no plans to re-open it in the short term, as we still have relatively few walkers passing by the cafe.
We hope to have the pleasure of serving you once things have returned to normal.
In 2016, we opened our fully licensed dog-friendly restaurant serving hot and cold drinks and snacks from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April to October, and 9.00 a.m. to 4 p.m. November to March.
Our cafe / restaurant benefits from a breathtaking rock view, from Jane’s delicious cake-baking skills, and plentiful free parking! On cold and/or wet days, we usually light the wood burner for your comfort, and the cafe offers free Wifi. Jane and Carrie are both learning Welsh so we are able to take orders in Welsh, if a little hesitatingly.
Artwork from local artists is displayed on the walls and available for purchase, as is our delicious Seville orange marmalade made on site and available in traditional, thick cut, or rindless versions. Carrie and Mike are toiling away so that this winter we will be able to offer hospitality in this beautiful building and this stunning part of the world.
Suites of rooms will soon be available for booking, so that you can stay in comfort for several days and explore the local area whilst enjoying the local home-made food on offer in our cafe.
Opening hours will be extended when the accommodation is open, to include evening meals and, probably, Sunday roast dinners.
Our barista coffee, packed lunches and selected other food items can also be packed to take away.
